Sugar Blues................................................................................................................$20.00
Are you suffering from Sugar
Blues? Do you constantly crave sweets
and want to understand why? Do you want
to gain control and change your behavior?
The average American consumes
up to 3 pounds of sugar a week!
Consuming this much sugar has tremendous detrimental health
effects. For example, sugar causes
hypoglycemia, suppresses the immune system, contributes to hyperactivity,
depression and anxiety, aggravates asthma, hastens hypertension, provokes
personality changes, promotes diabetes, increases heart disease, gallstones,
and arthritis, among many other health issues.
This
informative evening will change your relationship with sugar!
We will
discuss:
- Brief history of sugar
- Reasons
we can’t seem to control ourselves when it comes to sugar

sugar is hiding in various products

Healthy Fats................................................................................................................$20.00
FATS
The Good, The Bad, And…The Healthy!
For many years fat has been considered the
culprit in obesity, heart disease, and high cholesterol. Unfortunately, the
resulting “low fat” foods and diets have not resulted in most people
controlling their weight or becoming healthier. In fact, the opposite is true.
It’s the
type of fat that matters in addition to how much you consume.
Reducing intake of some types of fats reduces the risk of several chronic
diseases, but other types of fats are absolutely essential to health and
well-being.
Sifting through all the conflicting
information on fats can leave you with even more questions. What do you need to
know about polyunsaturated fat, omega 3 fatty acids and other terms? What are fats you should include in your
diet and those to avoid?
Join us for an informative evening to get the
answers to these questions and more!
